“Merry & Bright” Card Class
Yes, that holiday time is fast approaching and it’s time to get those Christmas cards out in the mail. If you need a bit of help in that area and just want some fresh ideas then join Cari for this festive Christmas card class. We will be creating 6 beautiful cards using the new My Mind’s Eye Christmas papers.

Student Supply List
- Paper trimmer
- Scissors
- Corner rounded punch (small & large)
- Ink (i.e. Colorbox Fluid Chalk ink *I used “Ice Blue”)
- Paper adhesive
- Double sided tape
- Pop dots
- Glue dots

Time to Get Krafty
Kraft colored papers are hot, hot, hot right now! If you love them like I do then you’ll definitely love this new collection from Paper Trunk. If you’ve never really used kraft paper or cardstock before then this is the class for you too. We will create 3 single page layouts filled with beautiful details and some fun techniques as well as make a card with the leftovers.

- Border punches (if you have them)

- Distressing tool (i.e. Making Memories, Heidi Swapp)
- Corner rounded punch
- Ink pad (ie. I used Colorbox Fluid Chalk in Creamy Brown)

About Cari:
Hi! My name is Cari Locken and I am a busy mom living in Langley, BC with my husband and our three young children. At a young age I loved walking around craft & art supply stores. A year before I got married a friend of mine showed me her scrapbook. I instantly fell in love with the idea of preserving my photography & memories in this way. This hobby of 12 + years has become a passion of mine and everyday I try to find time to do something that is related to scrapbooking.
I'm currently designing for Core'dinations cardstock, Black River Designs, The Inspired Scrapbooker challenge blog and Canadian Scrapbooker magazine. I've had my work published in BH&G Scrapbooks etc., Creating Keepsakes, Simple Scrapbooks, Cards, Paper Crafts, Paper Trends, Memory Makers, Scrapbook Trends, Scrapbook & Cards Today and Canadian Scrapbooker magazine.
I love teaching classes and am currently teaching at Clipper Street in Langley and at various retreats & conventions throughout the lower mainland.
